Yes, it was published in Flying Models as mentioned above.  I have that issue, but I always that it was rather unattractive and strayed too far from any actual full sized aircraft.  It would not have made my "to build list"!      By the way, Randy, what were you doing in the jungle?      D>K        H^^

Hi Guys,
Many years ago I checked with Jack and had the published plans.  Then he put me in touch with the late John Davis who flew one in the 1964 (??) Nats that was just a touch different.  I also got those plans from John.  It is the plane that I would build since he finished about 4th in his class (can't remember but I 'THINK' it was Open).

Please do not ask me right now for copies, I already owe too many a lot for different things and I want to get caught up.  I have had a  really bad time for a couple years trying to regain my strength after my chemo therapy "poisoning", but that is another story for another time......

We (Indy Sportliners) flew yesterday and Jack's Stuntliner came up. The better flying version had a straighter wing  than the published one.

If you were working with SOG during Vietnam...........you certainly earned that vacation in Hawaii.  I am just finishing a the best book on SOG activities that I have run across..........SECRET COMMANDOS - Behind enemy lines with the elite warriors of SOG...... by JOHN L. PLASTER.  It is a very interesting account of those days.  SOG had to be just about the most dangerous job on the ground back then.       D>K       H^^

Hi Gary. Where did you find it listed??. I still can't find it in the FM plans listing.  I do remember reading about it way back and thought it was the silliest thing ever.  LL~

It's also listed in the John Pond Catalog as Plan #34A7 as a cross ref. for the AMA plan service.

Its also in the plans gallery of Hip Pocket Aeronautics.  It's just weird enough to be attractive!

Ty,.

I simply searched the AMA .pdf plans list for "stunt liner".  It came right up.

Ty,

The Flying Models plans list that I have from around 2002(?), which is the one that Bob's your Uncle posted for me in the admin section of the forum, starts right around that time (1964-65).  I glanced through it last night to see if the Stunt Liner might have been mis-categorized there, as some plans are, but didn't find it.  The early plans skip around some when you'd think they would be chronological.

Not sure if this is the case related to the Stunt Liner, but at one time you had to order Flying Models' plans from Timely Plans.  And then Timely Plans burned down.  That is why early FM plans are hard to find.
