Title: Special Day

Today was an event called "Aviation Days" at the Davenport Municipal Airport.  I was asked to fly my control line stunters and to display my FPV airplane along with Floyd Layton and his R/C airplanes.  Jackie and the grandkids were in town this weekend so they came out to the airport to see the airplanes and to see me fly.  While there, Timmy, the 5 year old, wanted to fly my plane.  So we flew together for the first time.

Great shot Crist.  Sure brings back memories of when Savannah and Emerald were that age.   They don't get heavy until the engine quits, right. H^^

Great picture, Timmy looks very intent on flying that airplane. You might have a future C/L flyer there.

Looks like Timmy wanted "another" opportunity to test the tensile strength of grandpa's balsa wood (only this time some wood already assembled into an airplane)  LL~ VD~ LL~.
All kidding aside, that truly is a memorable moment captured in that picture. Looks like one precious grandson and one very happy grandpa sharing a flight.
