Right now reading this, I feel for those that are just south of me in Oklahoma, SE Kansas and Missouri. The weather gauge right now shows 34 degrees after a day in the 20's. Ice is all over every thing, but, so far we still have power. The daughter is leaving for work now. Right now it is not as bad as it was a few years ago when we had a freak snow storm in October. Leaves were on the trees at the time. We were without power for over a week. Was farming out the family with relatives that still had power. Going to work of a night and watching transformers blowing is not a pretty site. I worked all night and would come home and help neighbors clean up downed trees and limbs. It looked like a disaster area in the neighborhood. Also driving up the street made you think you were in a canyon. The guys/gals down south are not used to stuff like this. I remember being in Oklahoma City when they had an ice storm in the middle of the week. We had to wait for taxis to put chains on to get us back to the motel. It could be worse. MERRY CHRISTMAS, DOC Holliday
