Springfield Stunt Clinic II
« on: May 30, 2009, 07:05:11 PM »
Well, Sandy and I made it home just a few minutes ago.

First off,  I want to thank Alan Brickhaus and James Mills for doing this.  A lot of stuff was brought out that I must have forgotten when Jim Lee had one in Topeka with Big Art.

It got just a little windy in which one of the things Alan brought proved very useful.  Taking off on the up wind side of the circle.  And you make a point to have your starting spot just before the judges.  No broken props or aborted take offs.

All in all it was an enjoyable day and even tho I only put up one flight I learned a lot.  Now if I can only remember all of it.  A lot of reinforment of what Jim Lee,  Big Art and others have told me thru the years.

If there is another one next year I will be there.   Having fun,  DOC Holliday

PS:Even Sparky was there.  jeh

Doc,

Glad you enjoyed yourself, I'll try and get some pictures posted soon.  I couldn't have put it together without Allen's help (there were many phone calls that took place over several months).
