SPARK IGNITION BEASTIES!
« on: July 31, 2008, 01:52:30 PM »
I've been campaigning in OTS with these sparkers.  720 sq.in. and lots of noise!  The design is mine, dating from 1950.  (plans are available from Model Aviation magazine).  The front model is powered by Orwick 64 and was built in 1993 (a survivor!).  The other powered by Anderson Spitfire 65 and was built in 2006.

Maybe I should look at building one of your Wildman 60's instead of thinking about another Super Duper Zilch. They look magnificent Floyd.

Floyds plane probably flies better then the SD Zilch for having a thicker wing.

It wasn't that you could and others couldn't, its that you did and others didn't.
