  I believe it was. I saw a post and photo by Jim Hoffman on FB about it. They made made so many launches and recoveries that I can't keep up. I can watch paunch and recoveries all day long!! Been that way since I was a kid sitting on the floor of a small gymnasium watching a black and white TV in the corner of one of the Mercury blast offs!!

I live about 10 miles from where they launch space x from. When I first moved here 12 years ago it was a treat to see rockets go off every 6 months or so now its once or twice a week and it will drive you nuts.

Yes I did. I think I quit flying around 2007 and maybe around 2006 was my last flight at whittier narrows.
