2nd "Hobo" Flies
« on: July 20, 2011, 07:48:13 PM »
Flew my "Hobo" over this past weekend. 47" span, weight is 34 oz ready to go. The calculated CG and leadout location as shown on the plans is right on as a starting point. The Fox .35 for these flights will be followed by an FP.25 and FP.40.

The "Hobo" is meeting all of our criteria. Fast building with no blocks to carve, it is the perfect step up from the endless array of 40s and 50s vibrating profiles that mostly retard a flyer's progress. Modern airfoil and moments combined with simple construction make it a great little airplane.

Next step is to finalize the plans and publishing. Kit to follow. Price not yet determined.
