Very impressive!

Only Burt Ruttan could pull this off. The "mother ship" is very interesting too.
Are the space rides going to be suborbital? Seems that any reentry from orbital flight would be prohibitive with that vehicle.

SOO thats what caused that sonic boom about a week ago.Tthe first one i had heard in years Ba- BOOOOM!!!! I live in palmdale about 25 miles away ftom mojave and "renos" famous chili mmmm MMMMMM <poooooooot! ~^ n1 LL~ S :##

Keep your powered dry until warp, FTL, and Stargate technology goes public.
And of course, hyperdrive.
Personally, I will not leave this planet until we get foldspace.
-
DIDN'T they do this three years ago???

I was more hoping for the Infinite Improbability drive.... n~

I'm not going unless Seven of Nine is part of the crew.

Yeah,
That was for the X Prize. Test flying, essentially. First civilian operations in space. This one is for commercial operation.

I don't think that was this one. All they did so far is drop it for a glide test.

Are there "Ixians" in mojave ? Ixians can fold space, espeacially if they eat renos chilli !! LL~ im sure almost no one will get this but if you do you'll be lyoao

Yeah- Virgin Galatic is cool- if all you want to do is get people to pay a quater million bucks for a suborbital pop into micro gravity for a few minutes.
I am far more excited about Space-X Falcon 9 and the Dragon Spacecraft. A true orbital system that can go to the ISS and carry a useful load. They even picked cool names for the vehicles! It will eventually be man rated and used for transport of crewmembers to / from orbit.
It is privately funded, developed and deployed by a team with vision and the techncal expertise to make it sucessful. While it isn't in the same league as the Shuttle, it can give Delta / Atlas / Proton heavy lift rockets a run for their money. It will be an independant viable alternative to buying rides from our " Partners" like Russia, India, Japan and probably China ( when they get past using copies of 30 year old Russian technology).
Do a Google search - you will be impressed with what they have done / will do.
I would love to be involved with something like this, but unfortunatley I am too far along in my current field to make a timely transition to a new path and still pay the bills.
Here is a link to one of their press releases.

Thanks Bill for the informative link!

Guess I'd better change to subject to:
SPACE - Closer than I originally thought! #^ :D y1 H^^

Caprica 6 would suffice.
