We wound up flying it all today, (Saturday) as Sunday's weather is reporting high winds. Flying started around 9AM (Classic, OTS, Profile and PA) and the last flight of the day was close to dusk.

Joe Gilbert likes flying in high winds. 🤣🤣🤣
I saw a NATS video of him running towards his plane to stop the windup. 🤣🤣

Looked like a good turn out Norm.

That was a great contest! Thank you to everyone who worked the event all day so we could get our flights in. I was the last flight of the day and the sun was down and just providing some soft back light. This was pretty normal type flying for me back in the early 2000s in Dallas.  I have always wanted to have contest in the afternoon evening and it finally happened. It was really fun.

Thank you again.

It was a great contest as always! It was a good decision to do all events on Saturday. Getting the second round of flying in right at sunset was awesome! Best air of the day! I think this may have been the loudest contest we’ve been to since mufflers became mandatory thanks to the amount of no baffle pipes have sprouted up in the area!
