Two More pics.
I am not sure if I am going to use the 65 or 75 so I figured PA Power would do. ;D

Thats a great looking paint scheem so far.  Cant wait to see the rest..
How did you do the USA lettering?

I bet its a lot easier to do the paint work on a take apart.
What is the source / price of the take apart hardware you are using ?

Derek, it is looking great as it is, but, I did find one little flaw in side view of the left rear.  The bottom blue line looks a little short(I justnit picking here).  You going hold off on the clear coat until the flying surfaces are done?  I really like it. #^ #^ #^ H^^

Doc,

The top blue on is a bit short, too. I think it's supposed to be like that.  8)

Looks GREAT!!! I would stop right where you are with the red white and blue as far as your trim colors go. It looks great right now without being too "busy". Maybe just a little black for some detail lettering (like you've started) and maybe some ink lines. I assume you're carrying the theme on the wings too so judging by what you're showing here it's going to look great and have plenty of detail by the time the rest of the plane is assembled.  Too many people don't know when to stop when doing trim and graphics. Going too far just takes away from the actual lines of the airplane in my opinion. When in doubt, cleaner is usually better. y1 y1 y1

Claudio.

I made a two part vinyl stencil for the USA. The red went on first and then the blue. Yes, it looks good but it is very risky. If you do not line it up perfectly it looks terrible.

Hi Derek,

sorry that you had such bum weather on Sunday at Huntersville, but you know weather, weather is like a box of chocolates, you never know what yer gonna get.  I think PW believes that you should have an outrunner a pile of some super high tech batteries, a timer, controller, ect, ect. ect.  Well, you know Paul .........
Of course I'm of the opinion that a .75 and an 8 ounce tank is all you need!

Hi Derek,

I am sorry I couldn't get to Huntersville.  I really wanted to see you, and Dale, again!  Along with a few other guys....

Best of luck with the new plane.  You need a *Senior* WC medal to replace the Junior one. ;D
And it will come...........  y1
