Title: Source for Fox Superfuel Not By The Case
Post by: Dick Pacini on August 07, 2012, 11:02:18 PM
I need to get some Fox Superfuel to help out my new flying buddy who owns an old Fox 35.  I don't want a case, just a quart or two to start.  Brodak has an equivalent 5%/29% but it is out of stock.  Any ideas, without having to mix my own?

Thanks.  Their website only listed cases.

Dick, you might want to also ask about Duke's fuel, it is 10% nitro and 20% castor.
I use this mixture in a lot of my older (more mature) engines, with added 3-5% synthetic.

I want to stay with the 5/29 Superfuel.  It is an old engine that isn't even mine and I am helping the owner out.  He was going to use cat-@#$% RC fuel in it.  It was built for Superfuel and I want to continue that.

I have not been able to get any of my fox stunt engines to run well with 5%-29%. I finally changed to 10%-26% and like magic, it runs great.

Dick,

Why not try Brodak's 10-29?

It looks like I can get 5/29 from Fox if I call.

I mix my own, but I don't use much of it.
