I received this email and thought that it was way cool:
Hi folks - As you may know, I have an ever growing digital collection of cardstock models. I haven't checked lately, but it's around 4000 now (I think). I came across this one today and thought I'd tell you about it and send a couple of pictures. It's a large scale DC-3 - "coming through the wall" model where you only see from the mid-wing forward. A cool large scale (1/21 if on A4 paper and 1/15 if on A3 paper),that is 6'4" wingtip to wingtip! (if printed at 1/15). Here's a couple of pictures. Now wouldn't this look cool on the wall over your desk or above a door? You wouldn't need the wood plaque, but an artistic fool might paint a cloud for it to emerge from! I know a guy in Florida that just moved into an airpark subdivision that really needs this! (nudge-nudge-wink-wink -Dave!). The package contains several variations, and the picture of the one on wood was done by printing on silver paper. You can also do it with no coloring and with or with out rivets. There are 144 pages of various parts (about 29 makes any version). Best of all, it's free! If you are interested, you can download the model at:
