Does this mean I can't win anything here, either? Not that it would ever happen. I did win something once, but it got lost in the mail (it was claimed). That's my kinda luck. Really.  HB~> Steve

Hi guys,

I won several months ago and I'm still enjoying my prize. I fly her everytime I go to the field using a St 46, plane flys nice and love to hear Mr. Tigre growl around the circle. I've never won anything before and one month my lucky number came up. Thank you to this forum and all the people that is here. I enjoy reading all the articles and learning what I'm doing wrong, so get your hopes up, ya this might win. Good Luck and Good Night

Gary

No Steve,
That is one of the benifits of being a Moderator. We are not allowed to enter the drawings. ;D

Like Paul said! LL~ LL~

The "winning number" is randomly drawn based on your account number.  If you meet the requirements that Robert set down, you win!  "Our' numbers (if ever selected) are thrown out and a new drawing takes place.

When this practice FIRST started, Robert would call the house and I would give a deck of cards to my wife.  She would draw a card, face down and so on until three cards were drawn (less than a 1000 members then! LOL!!).  Robert and I would start checking the membership list for the number and then if that member met the requirements (full name in account records, posted in last 30 days, etc..).  If not, shuffle the deck and do it again!  I do not remember the "record" for having tip do that, but I know that on several occasions, my wife would have to draw cards over 10 times to get a person who qualified.

AFAIK, Randy handles all that now, probably by computer, and I am sure he checks the "rules" to make sure the winner has properly "qualified" for the prize!

Well I guess the moderators could win but none the less this has never been a issue as I cant remember a number ever being drawn for a moderator. Just like the winners from other countrys. I think we have had one or two. Its the luck of the draw.

Hi Robert,

I never even considered being "eligible", nor does it bother "ME" in the slightest. ;D

It's been great since "Day 1", and I thank you for that phone call way back when!

I hope you are doing all right,
Bill

Hi Bill,
I miss reading Roberts post, wish he could find time to play with the rest. He builds some beautiful stuff and I miss seeing the finish products Robert turns out. I hope he's doing well also.

Hi Gary,

I can't speak "for" Robert (he can handle that all to well himself! LOL!!), but I think the current economic grind has affected him, as it has so many.  He has been a terrific friend to me since we met online, and he came to Huntersville and we finally got to meet in person!

I wish him only the best!
