A Modelers Tale

A old modeler walked into a tavern and the Bartender said, 'Hey, I haven't seen you in a while. What happened? You look terrible.'

'What do you mean?' said the old modeler, I feel fine.'

Bartender: 'What about that hook? What happened to your hand?'

Old Modeler: 'I was hand starting my CL Stunt model and my old McCoy motor kicked back and the prop cut my hand. I got an infection and they had to amputate it. I got fitted with a hook, but I'm fine, really.'

Bartender: 'What about that eye patch?'

Old Modeler: 'Oh, one day I was out flying and while looking up at the overhead 8, a flock of birds flew over. One of them crapped in my eye.'

'You're kidding,' said the Bartender, 'you lost an eye just from bird crap?'

Old Modeler: It was my first day with the hook.'
