The insurance company finally approved my surgery.  May 15.   Thanks for the calls and messages..

That's Great!  Funny thing, I've been approved this week also.  When are you going to have your surgery?  Mine will be the 1st, unless they can fit me in next week.  I hope and pray you get relief.

I appreciate the well wishes very much guys.  Duke my surgery is May 15.  I am hoping this will give me some much needed relief from this pain.  I had two muscle spasms this evening that brought me to my knees.  I hate it when that happens.....

Good for you Mike!

I have been dealing with excessive back pain for several years now (Tension Myositis Syndrome) along with arthritis after a motorcycle accident when I was 24.  The endless stream of pain meds and injections are no longer working very well... I tough it out, but I am worried about the long range future. Let us know how things turn out. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Nothing rivals surprise muscle spasms and Charlie horses. Been having those myself lately (8 months or so)

I'm relieved to hear your op is finally scheduled, Mike. Insist on genuine American parts.

I am happy for you that your insurance company decided to do the right thing for you.  It is such a od notion to me that you can't just go to your family Dr., make an appointment with the specialist, and just get on with it.  Sometimes its good to be Canadian, other times it great! H^^
