I bought 2 sets of NIB solid flying lines off the Bay. The price was right so I thought I give it a shot.
Never used solids before and I have no idea what size to use for what planes.
Both are Brodak lines. One says .012 by 70' and the other is .014 by 70'
What size planes do they match up to? Any special care needed for solids? Do you guys finish the ends the same way you do braided lines?

If you are wanting to use solid lines on a CL stunt or sport ship, suggest you look at the pull test and line size chart in the AMA rulebook for CLPA. The line diameters there are based on model weight and accepted safety margin standards.
