Hey Ward,
It was a little breezy on saturday not unflyable low temp 49 deg high 71deg.
Sunday was nice alittle cool in the morning 50deg and second round was very nice 76 deg light winds.

We would like to say Thanks to all who volunteered to help run the KOI this year from  Judging to tabulating scores, running the concession stand to maintaining security at the gate and running scores, ect. H^^

I will post the scores on the contest results section.

Interesting that Tom Dixon  and John Simpson tied in Classic and N-30 and first place was determined by the first flight score. Since I did not fly I launched many people so I watched a lot of flying very close up.  I wore leather gloves so my hands did not get super cold like many did launching the planes ~^

I knew I should have come down and brught some of the temps with me.  Was in the teens of a morning and got into the 20's in  the afternoon.  Finally this AM it started inthe 20's.   This is all F degrees   minus if you use C temps.   Thanks for the scores.

Saturday morning it was 43 degrees at sunrise and windy. Pilots meeting was at Ten. Many put in practice flights before the meeting. At ten the temperature was much higher. Everyone had a good time and the flying in OTS was very tight. But for the wind this was a great KOI day. Sunday was stunt heaven and the pilots meeting was over shortly after 8:30. All the flying was finished by 1:45. This was a very good KOI and it was not frozen even on Saturday. The event was very well run.

ok Guys,
I finally got the scores posted in the events section And you can read um too!!!
Ed,
It was interesting that Tom Dixon and John Simpson tied in two seperate events, and it was two different judges also!!!
What's the chances of that happening? consistant flying and consistant judging..........
