So that is what a Triangle looks like...
« on: February 02, 2012, 06:59:01 PM »
My new weather web site predicted that the wind would die off around 3ish this afternoon. I called my coach (Jim Lynch) and he was more then happy to meet me at the field. It was still a little windy but flyable. Jim helped me get the Vector dialed in. A little tip weight, adjusted the lead outs and found the sweet spot on the needle.

Jim had me working on lap times upright and inverted. Then get the wings level and get the right line tension. Next I started to make some shapes. When I did my triangle it had three points on it. Wow I never did them like that before! My triangles use to look like inside loops with bumps on them.

The last flight I almost go the whole pattern in. I bailed on my clover. When I got to the second loop, I hit my wake and the plane bobbled. I got spooked and pulled out. All in all it was a great flying session. I think we are real close to having this Vector trimmed out. I feel I will have a good tool this contest season.

A big Thanks to Jim!!!

Good news.  Now listen to your coach and don't bruise the grass or dent the tarmac. LL~ LL~ H^^
