Another "REALLY PURTY MODEL" that haunts my dreams...it this one found in the Gallery. Simply outstanding in our field of round and rounds.

Mellow Yellow and Orange...really starts my day.

What is the first yellow one?  It's gorgeous. (Well, you're right, all 3 of them are. But I especially like the unorthodox lines of that big golden yellow/green one.)

That un ortho- model is Phil Granderson....a life long friend who used to live here in the NW and now lives in Oakland.
Phil as you know is one of the greatest  master craftsman builders, outstanding stunt flyer and best of all...an wonderful friend and great human being.

go to www.flyinglines.org/Favorite%20planes.html and read about Phil.
He won ist place in the Concours'd Eleganceeee-do da day award for the NW regionals.
Also check the photos on this website for further detail of this and other events that took place that great week end.

Thank you, Bill, I see it on the wing now.  Don, I was actually asking about the modEL, not the model-ER, however Mr. Granderson does do magnificent work, that's for sure.  I gotta get out to some contests sometime and meet these guys...

Those are balance tabs to reduce flap hinge moment.  They stay parallel to the wing while the flap moves.  I'll write them up for Stunt News as soon as I figure out what they do.
