Smokey the Bear Says . . .
« on: December 07, 2019, 08:30:30 PM »
FUDGE .

Rural Fire Brigade headquaters , over by the masts. Top Picture .

Next are from the Library here veranda .

Apparently half the east coast of Australias about the same , currently .

========================================================

If theyd exuiped a dozen C-130s a dozen years ago , with another six in reserve , most of the fires wouldve been stomped before spreading .

INCIDENTLY the new ' Super ' F - 14s will carry the weight of 2.000 U.S. Gallons on the stores pylons .

And the F-111's 9.000 U.S. Gallons ditto .

You could put three three thousand gallon water tanks under them . :-\
All theyed need is bladders in the leaky tanks , and she'lby right to go .

Send in the greenies after to collect the discarded burst alloy drop tanks .

I believe ' The dry ' is brought about by the deaforestaion inland , from the pioneer days on . The waterways are generally shocking ,
as a consequence .

The pollies are likely less sober than usual .  :(

Hello

The The Beriev Be-200 water bombers should be on their way to Australia soon to help see from Wikipedia:

"A firm called International Emergency Services (“IES”), housed at the Santa Maria Public Airport in California, US has been trying for some years to bring the BE-200 to the United States in its fire-fighting role.[40] An organisation called the USA Firefighting Air Corps (“USAFAC”) said in September 2014 that it had signed a collaboration agreement with IES to develop a U.S.-built BE-200 in Colorado;[41] however, while the USAFAC website maintains a BE-200 photo, no further information is provided on the status of the project.[42] There was also discussion at a Santa Maria Public Airport District meeting in October of 2016 of IES, Seaplane Global Air Services (“SGAS”) and Airbus partnering to build the aircraft at the Santa Maria airport.[43] Meanwhile, in September of 2018, SGAS ordered from the manufacturer four Be-200ES aircraft with an option for six more. The first two aircraft will be equipped with D-436TP engines, the eight others with the SaM146 engines.[44] According to some reports, SGAS has plans to wet- and dry-lease the water-bombers in partnership with IES, offering services in several countries, including the US, European nations, and Australia
