Smartphone weather app?
« on: September 23, 2016, 06:14:03 AM »
Just made the leap to a smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S7) and wondering what everyone is using for weather. Mainly for radar so I can see where the tornado is. Be aware you are talking to an idiot, still learning what buttons to push and have barely figured out how to use the durn thing as a phone.

Bob I use three different ones (and try to guess which is right).  For radar use accuweather.com.  Noah weather is usually pretty good and Air Sports Net is good for the wind forecast.  Weatherunderground.com can narrow it down to a very small area forecast.

Hey Bob
I keep this booked mark on my phone.

http://www.usairnet.com

I do as Dave does. Look at a few different sites. He named some of the ones I use.

I also found a app for air density and one that shows humidity for painting.

Just be warned... It will become part of you. You can't leave home without it. 👹
