Small Stunter

I came across a picture of a small stunter named the "Princess". The caption stated that an article was published in the April 1959 Aero Modeller, The overall lines look pretty nice and with a .15 might make a good small field flyer. Anyone know of any plans? Thanks, Ed.

Thanks once again Wynn, I see the posting on the forum but the email did'nt come through. This looks like it might be an interesting plane to tackle. I think it will be a good follow on from the Stunt Wind.

Hey Wynn, just checked my email again, they came through great, might have jumped the gun earlier. I like the elliptical wing layout and I have an Enya .15 and several .19's. Should prove interesting, thanks again.

This is on my build list, but I think it's a bit on the small side for a 15 or 19. Something like an Enya 09 ought to be about perfect, I reckon.

I think the great lump of an Enya 15 would be both too much weight & power for the little Princess.

36" span with a thin section, like Steve, I'd be looking to put in a .09 or .10.

Beautiful plane, and on my to build list.

For me an English .09 diesel would give it the right appeal. I bought an Elfin 09, but I discovered it's way too beautiful to bury in a cowl.

Hi all, when I looked at the plans and engine size I wasn't thinking in 1959 terms but 2012 terms as far as performance. AN .09 or .10 should work out perfectly. The accompanying article stated there's a lot of lumber in the build but I don't think weight will be that much of an issue with modern engines and some careful building.
