??? I am thinking of hiding leadouts in a foam wing. I would like to use small plastic tubing, about the size of a drinking straw, but must be about 2' long. Does anyone know where to find such tubing?
Thanks.

Try your local truck repair shop. They use nylon tubing for air lines and are available from 1/8" up to 1/2' id.

Don,
Get some plastic pushrods for R/C planes. They are a small tube within a larger tube. Dubro has Lazer Rod. There are two 36" pushrods in the package for under 5 bucks and almost any hobby shop should have them. If the inner tube is too small you could use the outer tube.

Hey Don,
If you must do this, keep it light! Maybe drinking straw. Remember you will need to glue it in place, and glue is weight. Whatever that comes to in additional weight, plus the leadout assemblies, may have to be compensated on the outboard wing(tip weight) which equals more total weight! What model are you building?

Here you go, it's called flex cable this one has a nylon sleeve and cable but I've bought them with braided steal cables, check your LHS.

Thanks for all the replies. The DuBro tubing looks like the ticket. I have been away from CL for some time n1.
Thinking about a foam wing Ringmaster.

...Thinking about a foam wing Ringmaster.
Don,
Some would consider using a foam wing on a Ringmaster as approaching blasphemy. ;D

PS. Good luck with your project. I would use Nyrod outer tube. You may be able to locate it without the inner tube. When I was into RC, they were available separately.
