Great idea!  I have often thought that our small group here in eastern WA State should give this idea a go. At our level I believe that something like a Twister (stock) would work.

Hi Joe,
I think you will find the original warbird series from Brodak (Mike Garmon's designs) to fly as good or better than a Twister!  And you will have these models of awesome war planes!!    (I get the laser cut ribs from John and have two more designs of warbirds!)

That is great that you guys are building the Hurricane.   I have one on the hook as well as several of the war bird series and have often thought how neat it would to have a multi event with those planes.  Of course stunt would be number one event, then racing them  with the same stunt set up.  Also balloon burst would be another and last a vote of contestants on best looking war bird.  Of all the war bird planes I've built and flown they all fly really decent.
