Is that the name of the Chinese WC plane? Didn't someone make plans and kit it?
Thanks

And it is basically the same plane that the Chinese are still flying.  Sorta like Ted's *****mitaion/Final Edition series.  Pretty much the same aerodynamics, at least when they were at the 2004 World's.

Xhaing used a ST 60 (or Chinese clone) in the Skywriter.  The 2004 World's saw the Chinese using 4 strokoes (at least the top two).  Xing Ping (sp??) was using a Saito Golden Knight 56.

Yep - that's the name of the Chinese Worlds plane.

There's a few sources for the plans.  The most accurate set (IMHO) can be obtained at the link below from the designer himself, Mr. Arden Zhang.

Pretty interesting stuff.  It shows a "slanted" tank design (similar, I believe, to what Brett Buck uses) and really small, quick controls.  The bellcrank's smaller than three inches, and the horns are pretty short, too.

HI Mike,

The only differences I could *see* at the 2004 between the original Skywriter and the planes the Chinese team were flying were cosmetic.  They looked like Yak fighter planes, etc.
