Too bad. I was going to volunteer to do the plans. Just to throw it out there, when there is a plane which has been out of production for so many years, and someone simply redraws it for others to use, is there anything about that which is un-kosher? Back about 15 years ago, I drew plans for the Ringmaster S-1. Since then both Brodak and RSM have been using my plans along with myself in making up the RM Gold kits. I'm sure that there was a copyright on the originals, but since the companys kitting these kits are out of business (Sterling, Jetco, Dumas, etc), does it matter? In otherwords, is this a case of "let a thousand flowers bloom"?
That said, I just finished building a Shark 202 (for electric) and started on designing a Shark 302. All based on my Brodak Shark 402 design. In fact, I just sent out a full bodied version (Shark 560) which looks really good. For those interested in any of the variant Shark designs, just holler.
