Sina's Templates; upload is completed
« on: September 25, 2024, 09:57:25 PM »
My Dear modeler friends,

I’m thrilled to announce that my templates are back in SH again! A huge thanks to Sparky for making this happen.

Sparky has dedicated a new section (Sina Goudarzi 3 Views) to these templates with enhanced security features. I kindly ask that we keep discussions here in the main forum and refrain from commenting on that section. This way it remains more secure and in a resource format

The format has changed a little, and templates are now listed by last name and first name of the designers, which should make things a bit easier to navigate. Some country codes have been used (best of my knowledge), otherwise they are from USA. Also, some Old Time Stunt marked with (OT).

I also want to express my immense gratitude to numerous individuals around the globe who have helped enrich this collection. Off the top of my head, a special thank you to:
Jose Modesto (my mentor), Keith Trostle (send me a huge package of designs), Bob Hunt (calling and emailing him non stop), Paul Walker (always supporting), Jim Aron (helping and caring), Jimmy Damerell (my late friend), Joe Daly (non stop support), Keith Bryant (big problem solver), Serge Delabarde (always writing back and forth), Ives Fernandes (source of information), Christoph Holtermann (finding, translating and sending designs), and Steve Moon (caring support) and many many other people in our global community for this project.

I’ll be uploading them daily in alphabetical order, and so far, I’ve completed A and part of B. There are roughly around 600 templates to enjoy.

Happy modeling!
Sina

Wonderful news! Thanks so much for these, Sina.
They've been instrumental in designing liveries for past and future planes.

Sina, if you use a white background on the images it will save you alot of money in ink cartridges. The option is to upload the image into Microsoft 3d and change the background to white. The program is free and helpful to plan out your paint job very accurately. I use it to fine tune images and colors for decals and stencils.

Dear Friends,

I'm excited to announce that the uploads from A-Z are now completed!

A few important notes to keep in mind:
- Not every design from each designer is included here; these are just the ones I managed to find.
- Please note that these are not construction plans; rather, they hold design and historical value.

In total, there are around 600 designs available, though there are still some 600x(n) missing. It's truly amazing to see how many planes have been designed over the years!

Throughout the process of gathering these designs, I've had the privilege of hearing many unique stories behind each model directly from the designers themselves. Those stories are incredible; I feel like I would need two lifetimes to fully document them. Thankfully, I’ve made an effort to remember them.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this project, far too many to name! And special thanks to SH and Sparky for hosting these digital files.

Thank you all!

Sina
