Silkspan

I found a couple of tubes of Sig silkspan this evening.  It is now almost the color of the box.  Can silkspan go bad before use?

Thanks

Don't know the official answer but I just used some 40 year old heavy silkspan on my Skyray and it seems to be fine so far, only time will tell. I'd imagine as long as it wasn't in direct sun or anything like that, it should be ok? Mine was a bit on the yellowed side and it was stored in a box too.      :)

I have used some really old silkspan. It was almost brown in color. It shrunk up just fine.
