I have had a piece of silicone fuel line in my gal fuel jug for about 3 weeks. The top 1/3, that portion not covered by fuel, deteriorated to gum. Easy to break off a piece & roll it into a gum ball. In the past I have never had a problem. Funny, the tubing immersed in fuel was fine. The tubing has been around a while, light blue color, never left in the sun. Why??
