A friend of mine bought 10 airplanes and 6 big boxes of tanks, wheels, spinners, mufflers, tuned pipes, props, engines and so much more from the estate sale of the late John Davis. Two of the airplanes were Noblers, one belonged to John and the other was built and flown by Jim Silhavy. Here are a couple pictures from the rebuilds. I have John's plane done and Jims is in the works and should be finished by next weekend. Enjoy the pics.
Blessings

Very cool planes. Were these built from scratch or kits of the day?
I think it's great they are being restored to flight again.

Allen,
Very nice job as usual. Thanks for caring enough to preserve some history!

I met Jim Silhavy once, knew John fairly well.
I've missed John since he passed.
Allen, do you have his SV's too?
