While I don't have the measurements off hand I thought I would direct you to this site to get an idea of how to modify your Twister.

See if you can find plans for a Fancherized Twister.  They fly great, and if you have a wing you have the only purely Twister part already made.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Here's a link to the plans and article for the Fancherized Twister.

Plans:  http://www.marinaru.ro/forum/planuri/Planuri/zbor-captiv/F2B-Acrobatie,%20Trainere,%20Semimachete/Fancher%20Twister%20Plan%20Article.pdf

The measurements I obtained from the Fancherized Twister plans are:
Leading edge to end of nose: 7.375
Wing airfoil chord: 8.25
Hinge to hinge: 15.75 (13.75 stock)

Keep in mind that it doesn't have to look exactly like the plans say when you're done.  This one has carried me from Intermediate to Expert (although I am now desperately in need of a new plane):

Hi Ring, from the original kit plans the fuselage was 29" long.  7 3/8" front of fuselage to wing.  the rudder was 7 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" wide. The fin was 5 1/2' tall x3" tapered. I lengthened my fuse. by 1 1/2''. Ted Fancher used 3'', your choice if you want add half ribs.  Hope this helps

Are there plans for the fuselage you used?  That's a very nice job you did.

Kinda sorta maybe.  Here's what I built off of, but treat it as a preliminary sketch and don't trust the scaling.  At the right scale the engine, wings, and horizontal stab should all match the Fancherized Twister side view.  Use really light balsa for the fuse, or build it hollow like I did -- there's a lot of fuselage behind the wing, and even making it hollow with an LA 46 in the nose I still needed nose weight.  If I did it again I'd be a bunch more careful about how much glue went into the fuse.
