China orders
« on: March 12, 2022, 01:22:38 PM »
I noticed in a post that some items were ordered from China and was told it would be about a month for delivery.  I order two items from two companies.   One was from China about 4 months ago put in charge of the USPS.  Last I heard is it is in Texas and was delivered to somebody there.   The second was from Wal-Mart about two months ago.  It has not given me a notice of delivery only that order was made.  The wif has been trying to get them resolve or was as the USPS says there is nothing they can do even with the order details given them.  So now I look to see where item is coming from, especially on the Ebay.   I hope you folks have better results than I'm having with China orders. File a dispute with your credit card company if it's not too late.

Walmart is American but Walmart online is a marketplace and products are sourced globally just like Amazon. Look a the product listing to see what the source is.

We really shouldn't be buying anything from China,  They are definitely not our friends.

Unfortunately,  Walmart and Amazon offer a huge inventory of Chinese goods and it is often hard to determine the source of the product.  I do my best to avoid Chinese products, but it is not easy.  And there is no reason that almost anything made in China couldn't be made here, or in Mexico, Vietnam, etc. or in Taiwan.

Knowing what we know now, if it was 1938 would you be ordering things from Nazi Germany?  I think not.  So, why in the world are we buying anything from China?
