We hear about cup awards. Can someone please post pictures of some of the cups and maybe pictures of names on said cups?
And maybe a list of cups?

Mass Cup

There was also the John D'Ottavio cup. It was awarded by the Garden State Circle Burners for the winner of Nostalgia / Classic stunt. I believe I was the first winner in the early 1990s. I flew an Excalibur. I've no clue as to where that trophy is now or if it's still awarded. Somewhere, there is a Windy video of that day, but I can't find it posted anywhere. I have a VHS copy, but it won't play. It was a really memorable day because it was on THAT day Bob Lampione showed up with his not-flown-in-ages United model. A bunch of guys got it sorted and Bob started flying again on that afternoon. And it's ALL on that video.

Kevin King and I digitized over 660 Windy tapes a couple of years ago and they are all on the Walt Brownell Channel on YouTube. Have you looked there? I have slept too many times to remember when Walt Brownell's collection started but it was supposed to have been almost half of everything Windy did, and most likely the single biggest collection. I think Walt had a subscription to Windy's videos, watched them once then put them on the shelf, because I had to rewind just about all of them to play them through my capture set up.  I did a quick check and there were some that went back to 1993 in the Shop Series.

Rick,

Is that the D'Attavio Cup in front of you on the right?  I got this photo of you and me at the Circleburners Old Time Stunt Event (20th) from Mike Ostella at Vegas in 2022.  I'm pretty sure it was taken in 1990, but there are 4 nameplates already on it.

Yes....that's the D'Ottavio trophy. There are nameplates on it, but none were engraved. Pretty sure i was the first. The whole Classic/Nostalgia thing would not have existed four years earlier.

Alas, I have searched to no avail. Mark Gerber is pretty sure the photo he posted is from 1990, and that sounds right to me. We had a great weekend together. Seeing Lampione get hooked again was priceless.

If memory serves me correctly, It's fading fast! I believe the D'Ottavio Cup has been taking out of the mix and now resides with his son Nick. We repurposed the Reinhart cup for the Advanced winner of the Northeast Championships. Scarinzi award for the Intermediate champ. Weider award for Best appearing model at Northeast. There was a Windy Cup that has been misplaced. That was for, best appearing model for GSCB fall meet
