Sig Buster for fun...

 Every once in a while I like to toss together a simple 1/2A or .15 size model in between the bigger ones just to be able to build something that doesn't tax the melon too much. Here is a Sig Buster that I put together last winter. It's a model that I've always thought was just a neat little airplane when you see them at the field. Usually the ones you see though are in pretty rough shape. The only mods to the kit in this case consist of adding 1-1/2" to each wingtip, a cheek cowl and spinner ring, and a scratchbuilt aluminum landing gear with wheels from a Sig ARF Primary Force. Oh yeah, and custom vinyl graphics instead of the kit ones. The Sohio and Kendall ones were done by Control Line Central.

  If you think that is neat, get him to post some pics of the Buster that he morphed into a Hughes Racer! Wayne is definitely a BIG talent and has the vision to come up with neat designs and paint schemes. he basically MAKES ME SICK SOMETIMES!!!!!!! Check out the thread on his Curtis Hell Diver. Who else has ever done a semiscale Hell Diver stunter??? I wish I had half of his imagination, skill and talent.
   Oh, and maybe he'll post a pic or two of the really neat Suhkoi that he built from some cast off Nobler wing!

That is one great looking SIG Buster.  Hope it flies as well as it looks.  Needless to say you probably won't do any loops on purpose!

That is an EXCELLENT Buster. I like the decorations too...it's been a long time since I've seen a Kendall (the 2000 mile oil) add or a SOHIO station.

Some years ago some on one of the forums posted that a Buster was his first plane. He commented that it was an appropriate name 'cause that's what he did first flight...buster.
