SIG Award
« on: June 25, 2007, 09:52:57 AM »
I want to thank all those people responsible for the award I received at the end of the SIG Contest.   It is the "GLEN SIG FIREBALL AWARD".   It was completely a surprise to me.  I want to thank Brenda & Melvin Schuette for nudging me to go with them.   I want to thank Mike Gretz for letting me judge for two days.  I also want to thank Scott and Randi on the judging chores.   And a special thanks to Hazel & Maxey Hestor for the use of their site/property.  Finally thanks to all that helped me have fun.  DOC Holliday

Way to go Doc; Wish I could have stayed around for your award presentation.  My tooth problem finally gave in about 10:00 PM saturday night after getting back on my antibiotics for a day, but by sunday morning I was so worn out from the medication and the pain from saturday that we just headed for home. I get to go to Topeka tomorrow for a root canal. O-Boy! That will be fun. Lesson learned; Don't go to model airplane contest with an absessed tooth, even though it does not hurt at the time. I think Murphys law comes in here somewhere.

Jim,  Randi and I wondered what had happened.  I told you was having tooth problems.  Glad you took the smart way out.  Hope the dentist doesn't hurt you too much.  DOC Holliday
