I am looking for a photo of a side exhaust port someone put on a cowl for venting. Seems like maybe it was one of the Randy's.
Anyone remember where I saw it? n~

Does this help?

were you perhaps thinking of the "Freelancer"?
Randys elliptical plane, I have it. It has ports on the cowl side to exhaust air, or did you mean the engine EXHAUST
-
Mark,
It is to exhaust air, not for the engine. That could be in. Got any photos?

I dont ahve any pictures with me on this computer, I be at work,,
I will TRY to get some taken tonight, however it could be a challange since I am packing to go pick up my daughter and move her.

Perhaps these can help:
-
Rootbeard,
The Strega has side vents also.
-
Claudio,
That is one nice looking cowl. How about showing the rest of it.
I need more photos.

Does this help?
Chris,
I change it up last night to look more like the one you show. Now I need to see how to do the side vents. #^
-
The only side hole you need is for the Muffler.
Unless you mean Fuel Tank Vents.
-
Your looking for a set up that vents directly through the cowl? No muffler or extension. Doesn't that make even more of a mess to clean after flying?
-
Hi guys:
I saw up close and could talk personally to Claudio (Argentina): the cowl is the most beautiful and well done I've seen in my life.

p.s.: google translate - all correct?

Bring the tank vents thru the air vents. I did that on the Humbug.
