Title: Show me pics of the Signs at your Flying field
Post by: Motorman on March 13, 2015, 09:55:32 AM: We need to get an AMA safety code sign up at our flying field to comply with city regulations. I saw a sign at an RC field that had a Great Planes Logo on it. just wondering if there is a weather proof sign out there you could buy that has the AMA safety code on it.

Certainly. I get one every year with my club renewal - comes in a big plastic bag the last few years.

They didn't know that was Shawnee Mission Park Land and was looking for a place to try out their guns. Seems their shooting range was shut down. I went and tried to find the sign and didn't find it.

Post by: peabody on March 13, 2015, 11:17:36 AM: The AMA sells the safety code on sticky backed plastic "paper". I stuck it onto a piece of the plastic "cardboard" that they sell at art stores. I just posted the "general" and Control Line" rules. One I did at Pal Park has been there for around 12 years.
