FCM is the Fellowship of Christian Modelers.  This was our 18th year for this weekend.  The emphasis is on fun, fun, fun.  We provide a tee-shirt, Saturday evening's meal, (pizza) and drawings for goodies with the entry fee.  We have typically had several hundred dollars worth of good "stuff" donated by several manufacturers and there were two huge bundles of contest balsa , one at each day's drawing this year.
This has been well attended down through the years and everyone has a lot of fun.  The highlight for me this year was Dennis Vanderkuur's big profile biplane flying in profile and scoring high enough for second place!!  What neat sight that was.  It was a joy to judge!

Attended a couple of FCM events in years gone by when they had scale.  Hands down the best bunch of people in the world.  It as close to the NATS as you can get at a fraction of the cost.  Hope to learn enough of the stunt pattern to return in the near future.    #^   #^   #^

So, you are letting a "youngster" beat you all in masters class.

Good job Chris.

I'll tell ya, Chris takes first place as a dad, too.  He does such an admirable job of caring for little Emma that it's obvious stunt is second place BEHIND her.  What a joy to watch the sweet bond between them.  Well done, Chris, well done.
