That is one gorgeous Shark. Tell him old DOC Holliday said hi. Met him and most of the Brazillian team at the 2004 Worlds in Muncie IN.
Beautiful Shark.Just wondering, has anyone other than Lew made one and called it a "Humbler"? George
Looks great! That's probably a good thing too...because I'm not sure how many people would be willing to lend him a plane this year. At least not after seeing him wind-fly Buddy Wieder’s immaculate Caprice a couple extra maneuvers after the fuel ran out the last time I saw Bene fly Classic in Muncie. Poor Buddy looked like he was about to faint. EricV
Bene is amazing to watch talking off !
ST60 in a classic plane..Bit excessive ?Bene is amazing to watch talking off !
Not excessive at all. Ever see Bob Whitely fly his Hawker Hunter? Its esentially a Shark 45. I have built two Jetco versions and powered them with ST.51's (current model) and that is an excellant combination, and a bit easier to get a fuel tank in that way. In my memory there have been several in the past 15 years or so that I have seen that have been ST.60 powered. I built my first Shark in 1994, flew the dickens out of it, and built another one that I call Jaws-2 in 2005, and both had a yellow, black and red paint scheme that Chris McMillin helped me come up with. I'm not on my computer, and I don't know how to do the photo thing anyway, so does anybody else got a pic of my Shark45 they can post? Type at you later, Dan McEntee
