This was a concept drawing by the Tee shirt artist that did not make the cut. One of the members here was going to do one but they are having health issues. James Mills Brother inlaw said he could do one and I am looking for someone to do a concept. If I can't find someone soon I will have to do it myself and I have not drawn in 20 Years. Maybe I can do it maybe not.
Here you have some ideas. Same concept and different contrasts for black or white T-shirts.

I like it! Is that Bene on there?
-
I am a graphic artist and I like the design too but .......... to the uninitiated what is the person shown doing?
Flying a stunt kite? That's what leaps to my mind when a model is not shown.
-
I am having trouble getting a good design for the next round of shirts. So from now until I get home from the NATS we will run a design contest. I will give 2 free shirts to the winner up to 3X. Post ideas here. Try to make it finished artwork.
-
I like it! Is that Bene on there?
Sure looks like him!
-
LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~
LL~
LL~ that is Bene for sure, I'd recocnize that left hand anywhere.....
We fly together every weekend...
Too bad we can't have a video there, a picture doesn't make justice to his choreography...
As he's not registered here, I'll let him know about it... Gotta see the guy's take off...LOL

I'm not a professional graphic designer, as I do not have any formal education on this matter. I do it just for the fun of it...

Claudio got my vote already... 8)
Marcus
-
Like Claudio's #3,6,7, but would like to see them in red, white and blue, After all, it is the fourth of July! :!
W.
-
Yes Claudio, they have to be in red, white and blue to get my vote. I like the one with the inverted plane flying level.
-
I like how Bene holds his left hand it a straight salute in front of his hat before each maneuver. Old habits are hard to break.
-
Red on white with black trim would be perfect. Adding another colour would just make it busy. Good stuff Claudio. I like the level plane with Stunt Hanger under it as well. H^^
-
Here you have a patriotic version of logo #7, with some add-ons. I, personally, like the one with the black background.
It has WAY more "punch".
Happy Independence Day!
-
I like every one of them! The decision would be very tough...but I hope others put in their entrants also... y1 Steve
-
My vote is #7!
-
My vote is number 9.
Roger
-
I'm going to buck the trend and vote for 5 or 6.
I'm not fond of the slanted text of 7.
Now if the text in 7 was uniform height with a level (inverted) airplane, I would like that better.
STUNT
-------
HANGAR
That is my 2 cents. Good work Claudio!!

Ditto from the old DOC.

If you're going for the inverted model, put it under the text. Otherwise, it looks like your "bottoms" are too high, IMO. n1 Steve

Hi,
No flying today...ugly weather, so...some more food for thought...
-
That is a pretty cool design, Claudio!!!
How about wrapping the lines to the other side (front/back) and putting Bene there with the handle?
It is great how it is! I like the vertical text.
-Chris
-
I like #6 design with the red, white, and blue colors of #8&9.
-
Yes Claudio, they have to be in red, white and blue to get my vote.
I like #6 design with the red, white, and blue colors of #8&9.
Now you two come up with blue, green, and yellow designs.
Oops, make that sky blue and white. Seeing Bene there tricked me.

Good idea Chris. Let's see what I can do....

Would the white parts of the model be practical for dark colored T-shirts? Seems unlikely to me. I am a T-shirt kinda guy, and I am not keen on the ones with either big areas of paint, or dark colors...stinkin' hot! Just 'cause it looks cool on the confuser doesn't always translate into a practical to silkscreen T-shirt. Tie dyed would be uber kool! H^^ Steve

Claudio
That's really great!

I'll take a large. #^

Hi Claudio,
Excellent work! Your shirt in reply #25 is almost perfect. The only suggestion I would make is placing Bene a little higher on the back of the shirt. When it is tucked in, his feet may end up somewhere where they would not be very comfortable? ;-) ..... I know it would require changing the angle of the plane to make the lines line up again, but it may be worth it to help Bene keep his feet out of trouble??
Thanks for the very nice art work, you certainly have my vote. .... Please put me down for two of them. :-)
-
Hi Claudio,
Fantastic design.
Like Rudy said above, but, just one request make the blue much lighter so it will be cooler on hot days.
My 2¢
-
Hi Rudy and Roger,
Thank you very much for your compliments and suggestions. H^^
Concerning the T-shirt color, I have no decision on that at all. I'm just presenting different logo options for you folks to choose from.
In any case, I concur with your choice, guys: #25 is the one I like most, indeed.
See below some other color alternatives (for white and black t-shirts):
-
Wonderful job.
Sorry have only been looking at the cool graphics so if some one already suggested it. Sorry.
Tee shirts should be a cool color. By cool I mean a light color. Dark colors are hot to wear. Like a black shirt on a sunny day will make you cook in the south. f~

Hi guys,
Two more logo proposals for you to consider, with a totally different approach and a classic look (more "serious" if you will, so to speak...)
Note that the first one has a color gradient in the center circle.
One can even make decals out of them...
-
Claudio and everybody
Spoke to Bene today, and he was really surprised to know about the Tshirt and to actually see the tshirts...
He asked me to say very many thanks and he is honored to have his image there. He is coming to the NATs, to fly OPEN and Classic.
Did anybody say no-engine lazy eight?? VD~ VD~

This is the one that fits the shirt screen. Can you take out the P 51 and put in a stunt plane of some type?

They all look good.

It could be one of your Crossfires recently built...IMHO
They look so good, and it would make justice to all your effort to put up with all us...

Absolutely, definitely, without question, this one!! y1

Don't worry about the size of the .jpeg's images shown, because I will provide you with the original VECTORIAL files of the chosen logo. This vectorial files can be manipulated as needed by the company who will make the shirt printing without loosing resolution or definition.

Ideas are still flowing.... :!

Say Hi to Bene, Marcus!
Will do...
By the way Claudio, were you there when he pulled the no-engine lazy eight? He told me he did it in Angentina...
Crazy ass...

Oh yeah, I was there! He did it with one of his "Cheyennes"...AMAZING to say the least!
I wonder if he'll dare to do that trick with one of the ucranian planes he is currently flying! %^

I guess it's a matter of how much people will put in the pot S?P VD~ LL~ LL~ LL~
He's bringing one of his Cheyennes for OPEN, for classic, I don't remember...
Maybe Bene could borrow a plane again... LL~ LL~

Why do not keep the same? Wouldn't it be cheaper now that the design is done? #^
I liked it!!! If it gets a stain while flying, you can keep the other for "clean" activities...
I'll buy another, whatever is chosen...
H^^

Once again I must submit my wording for any CL Stunt T-shirt: "Drive It In Hard, Drive It In Deep. Fly CL Stunt."

Congratulations Claudio! Excellent work.
My vote is for number 24, but I'd like to see with vortex generators.

Ad to Da Dirt's comment: "and pull out in time".

Robert,
That's good art, looks original.
Will lend itself well if you choose to limited colors to save money.
The circle isn't necessary. I would omit it.

I really like this one, but would just add "Fly C/L Stunt" under Catch The Spirit. Or maybe change the phrase to "Grab Hold of The Spirit, Fly C/L Stunt" maybe?
Put me down for a 2X one way or the other. For a way to save on costs, all you guys out there that order these and live in the same area, maybe have them shipped out together to one address? Might be tons cheaper to ship three to six shirts and put more money in the till. Maybe even send batches out to specific contests for guys to sell and have them send in the proceeds, and give them a shirt for their trouble? If you can swing it, a larger order may get each shirt cost down, and some guys might be more inclined to buy one if they see it first, and don't have to pay shipping? Just thinking out loud.
Type at you later,
Dan McEntee

I like it, but maybe there could be something like Dan suggested, "Fly CL"...
I'll take 2.. Whatever they are.

Seen the other post before this one. Yes, if the shirt has a pocket, I will take one. #^
