I’m considering building a Pathfinder and need a little help figuring out the correct electronics.
I have in my inventory a AXI 2826/10 and a 45 AMP Rebel ESC looking to use a 4S 3000m LiPo.
Will this work or do I need to maybe do a BA 3520/790kv and 5s 2800m?
I definitely don’t wanna be underpowered.
I don’t know the KV on the AXI cause it got scratched off. ☹️
It was on another large profile plane I built in 2013.
Any input would be appreciated.

What's the wing area? Pathfinders' not real big is it? Sub 600, I think you'll be fine with the AXI.

I agree, the 2826 is more than enough to pull a Pathfinder. Profile or Full body? I might go with a 35xx for nose weight.

WA is like 610 or 630

Crist was on the money: 620 sq. inches. The IC ones I've seen built pretty light.

It’s a profile.
What about the battery? 4s or 5s?

My PointsFinder is very much based on the PathFinder. I use a Cobra 3515 Kv740 motor. Castle Talon 35 ESC, Hubin FM9 timer and a 5S 2800 TP lipo.
620 square inches at 54oz ready to launch.
I have since "upgraded" to a 6s Li-ion pack due to poor quality TP batteries I have experienced. No change in motor.

Thanks Dave. Good to know.
What issue did you have with the TP batteries?
Nice looking model 👍🏼
