Go to " My Messages" at the top of the forum page. Click on that. Look to the left and find the first column labeled "MESSAGES." Below that are the choices, and you want "Sent Items."
  Type at you later,

It is precisely as Dan says, and working fine at this moment.  You click either on "my messages" or the "read messages" pull-down it offers.  Once that displays, then look for "sent" in the on the left.

It is a little more complicated.  I found to see my sent messages I had to go into my Personal Messages (under the My Messages tab on the top bar) and then go into my Settings and select the option:
Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default.

Once I did that, I could access a copy of any message or reply to a message that I had sent.  Before I changed the settings, it defaulted to not save my sent messages.

Naomi is correct you must check the box that says "save a copy to my outbox" otherwise no sent messages are saved.

All of the above works fine here to see the sent messages.

I have a question, why does "my messages" always show (1) messages? I've read all input messages personal and otherwise and even deleted the last visible message that shows up? Is anyone seeing the same? Not the end of the world but since the subject has been brought thought I'd ask.

You have to mark it as "read" for the notification to go away.

Just went and looked. My "Sent" and "Replies" folders are still intact. Easy peasy.  y1 Steve

Same here. No trouble getting messages sent or received. My problem is not reading by getting into a big hurry. D>K
