..About 65 air miles
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:03:38 AM »

I am in South Louisiana about 65-70 air miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico, and we have close to 1" of snow (sneaux) in Louisiana spelling, the temp is @ 23 deg F with a chill factor of 12 deg.!!

That is TOUGH on us Suthen folks, supposed to get up to around 40 deg later today, so that will be better, and the Sun will be shining also..

 Hope that everyone else is O K... H^^    D>K D>K D>K D>K D>K

Its that damn global warming I tell you.

Some how, some way, this has got to be Bush's fault.

Don't worry Larry; with a stroke of the pen the POTUS will fix everything!

I feel so much better.

Executive order to ban snow and carbon dioxide, sounds like a winner. Now, where is that Constitution toilet paper?

Rushing back and forth across the globe, spreading the good word on how we are all evil rich people and must be stopped and the carbon dioxide will somehow disappear if we just write large checks to China and other backwaters.  In his Gulfstream private jet.

But with all the hot air south of New York(D.C) you'd think it would be warmer.

You guys could always come down here to Adelaide in South Australia to fly. The week before last we had 5 continuous days with temps no lower than 104 (translated into American :)) but peaking at 113.

Today (Thursday) it's a balmy 99 but tomorrow will be 104 followed by 107, 109, 99, 104, 107 and seemingly no end in sight. You could go to the beach to cool off but they're deserted because the sand is too hot to walk on :).
