Byron Barker Paint Stands
« on: January 25, 2014, 03:15:13 AM »
Does anyone know if the company Byron Barker worked for will be making paint stands to order?

If I recall a phone chat I had with him we  started discussing engines and soon got to talking about welding since his business was a welding shop and I'm a welding engineer. I think he ran the business himself as the owner so doubtful there would be anymore paint stands being produced. If there is set of drawings or even sketches to show its construction should be able to go to a local weld fab or maybe even a weld school and have one made to order.

Byron did indeed work for himself as owner of his own business.  His business has closed since his passing.

It is a pity that Byron's business had to close.  He had several devices that are top quality.  I really like his fuselage jig and paint stand.  They will outlast my Grandkids!
