Hi All.
According to tradition, last Saturday in April is season start meet in Norway.
This year we had a record 15 people and some 30 models.
Nice sunshine and great fun.
I also had the pleasure of giving 2 12 years old their first flight lessons with a Flite Streak.
Pictures:

2. My 2 TP's spent some lonely nights together.
3. A kit built (no ARF/ARC) Brodak P. Cardinal.

Thanks for putting up some pics from Norway. I've always wanted to visit the country my grandparents were from. I just didn't think there was anything there but ice. ;D
Nice planes!

That wind sock is in a good position.
Looks like you had a great day to fly.

Yes, except the slight breeze was from north, so first half of the day we had the sun against doing the pattern.
There were no contests, just social flying and trimming of new models.
...
For the guy who thought Norway was just snow and ice.
Your grandparents did not tell you (or your parents) much 8)
Norway have a climate something like Massachusetts.

Here is a picture of Clamer Meltzer and Harry Kolberg firing up a twin engine Flite streak.
The flying site allowed for running the 2 PAW .15 diesels unruffled.
Awesome sound and the smell of diesel fuel is something that brings back memories.
