I wish to ask the builder of this model for approval to copy the paintjob. Any contact info would be very much appreciated.

If anyone copied any of my paint schemes (although I'm not sure why they would) I would be flattered. Every contest I attend I take photos of most of the planes, mainly to get ideas for my next paint scheme.

If you are doing it just for you, don't worry about it unless you plan on making money doing it. D>K

yes what they said most would be proud that u thought enough of their pant job to copy it at times i have found a pattern i liked and just changed the colors

I have asked before, but it was a local flier so I thought it was appropriate. No harm in asking but chances are what you are asking permission to copy was copied from someone who copied it from someone else!
