Title: Sea Fury - September Pops .
Post by: M Spencer on December 01, 2018, 07:07:16 PM
reg Towell . Stalker 76 -  Rabe Sea Fury .

taken Today at Doonside Club meeting , whallan reserve .

Only 5 entries , I chickened out after a hard night & day & the horrable traffic across town .
Got there at the end of round one , just on 10 am . GEEES . they dont often get under way till then .

The wind'd got up then . Causeing a few problems and everyone to grab the shade , in a big gust .
The way the forests were blowing in the breeze on the way up here , Id think they mayve called it a day at that stage,
after a few brave & a few not so brave , flights. In the second round .

VERY COOL!!! Looks like a really nice build too, the Al Rabe design?. What are some of the details, engine etc? Is he going to complete the rest of the "September Pops" graphics?

the pixies do all the work while you sleep . ! .  ;D

Enforced rest & recuperation at the moment - But intends refining a few details & fine tooning  .

I was considering coming down, but a 2 hour drive with winds approaching 15 knots, and very little practice forced my hand to sleep in instead.

Tough gig but someone's gotta do it.

The 1st round was fine having started early, but the wind became unmanageable late in the 2nd round. Was good to enjoy lunch (thanks to Doonside Club) & chat...after anchoring down the gazebo's!

Is it September now down under?  I know your seasons are reversed, but I didn't know about the phase shift.
