Just so everyone knows, this is the Super Combat Streak. One of my favorite planeS as a kid and a great candidate for the Stunt 25 event (which has been dormant but I’m hoping to revive it).

I have one ready for test flights that was is a clone of a kit.   Built up leading and trailing edges.   Also did the Flite Streak.

   Hey Doc;
    Do these share the same wing? Is it your camera angle or is the Flite Streak bigger? Just curious.
  Type at you later,
  Dan McEntee

     Hey Walter! Glad to see that you are up and around an busy again! Continued good health to you!

Walter;

Great to see you back at the helm.
Glad you are feeling better and back to working again.

Will be glad to have warmer weather here in a couple/few weeks so I can get into trimming the big Sakitomi 60+ ready for the season.

Dan, the Flite Streak and Super Combat Streak share the same wing, stab/elevator, and vertical fin. The only difference is the profile vs. box fuselage.

Clint has it right.  It is the camera angle.    D>K

 Here's mine, built from Walt's excellent kit. As a personal preference only I added my own aluminum L/G and a tailwheel over the stock single wheel gear. Controls consist of a Brodak nylon bellcrank with Tom Morris leadout wire, Central Hobbies carbon tube pushrod and titanium inserts with Du-Bro ball links and horn. Finish is all Brodak dope. All in all, it's built pretty much out of the box. This one's a hoot to fly. y1

Wayne, what engine and prop are you using on the SCS?

His engine is a SuperTigre C-35. Prop in the pic looks to be an old Top Flite Super M. Probably a 10/6, but I don’t know if that’s the prop he’s actually flying it with.

           I will also comment as I have one of Walt's Combat Streaks. The plane is the cat's meow. My son and I truly enjoy this plane. I have owned about 6 Flite Streaks in my time of flying and this one stands out above the others. Ken

 Clint's got it right, great combo for this airplane. It's hard to beat a good running .35 combined with the 'ol 10/6 Super M's.

Hi Guys...

Thanks for all the kind, caring and uplifting words.

The move to Al. and my health issues really took a bite out of me but
all in all I am really feeling much better, so I hope to stay really busy. ;-)

I plan on releasing a few new models this year but I truly don't want to
hijack this post, so I will post that on a separate post for all of that stuff.

Thank you all for your kind words.
