Here is what I have been piddleing with. This is my little Scrapper. First time I used Silk type covering. Power is a Fox .25, all I need to do is wrap the leadouts and take it for a spin.
Don't ask me what it weights, cause I over build them.  LL~

I saw Kreth fly his and it sure looked like fun.

Fun is what it's all about.  I don't do good finishes.  Or builds, either.

Hey, as long as it's fun, that's what matters. Give you more weapons in the arsenal to learn on.

As stated, you are having fun aren't you?  Finishes come with practice and patience.  The latter I have little of.  As one of the leaders of the old Flying Eagles used to tell me, "Learn to fly and build, then learn to finish".  DOC Holliday

It looks nice to me.  The silk job turned out fine.
I can't make out the motor; What's the motor?

Anyway, it looks like a Hot Rod just sitting still, good job.

Hey Chris,
The engine is a R/C Fox .25 that has a screw on vent, with a ST NVA. Right now it has a 9x6 prop.

Trust me the pictures hid a lot. Your FrankenNobler looks nicer.

I think Kreth had a Fox .35 on his and it was doing 70+ MPH!!!

Can you say "Hang on tight!"

Hope you guys don't get dumped on with lake effect snow anytime soon. @@^

Paul,

He's got a Fox .25 BB on his Scrapper. He's breaking it in on the plane.

I like the breaking it in on the plane.  I want to do that with a Fox 35 and will apreciate any advice I can get.   It has about a quart through it on the bench, and seems to be running pretty well.  Sure was interesting to get it running at first, though.
