Bought the two Redhead McCoy .35's he had for sale. Got them today and proceeded to put them on test stand and run them. Had a little removing the screws on the one that had two screws missing. Installed socket head screws and added thrust washer from an engine that hasn't run in years. The McCoy Redhead .35 was my first .35 size engine which came in blue plastic box with s clear lid. Price tag was a whopping $10.00. Any way I owe Cody as both engines once I got a bump started on second flip of the prop, a Power Point 10-6. So Cody if you need any thing within reason let the old DOC know. The one with the spinner nut is the one I replace the head bolts on.

What fuel & plug are you using in McCoy? Is it OK to use R/C idle bar ? Don't want to risk piston baffle hitting the idle bar. Back in the day only used standard plug. I use idle bar in my FOX stunt, but they have been converted to hemihead.

I run fuel of synthetic nd castor blend. Just don't try to get that bit of RPM out of the engine. 22% oil also.
For got open face plugs. I have on idle plugs put an extra washer under the plug.
